Regardless of age or interests, Universal Orlando has something for everyone.
As a Universal Orlando annual passholder I’ve visited the park more than 50 times. As such, I know first-hand some of the best and most unique things to do when visiting.

1. Take Your Picture by the Universal Globe
No trip to Universal Orlando is complete without snapping a photo in front of the iconic Universal globe. This famous landmark outside Universal Studios Florida is a must-see and the perfect backdrop for a memorable picture.

For the best shots, try these three prime photo spots:
- Outside NBC Sports Grill & Brew – Excellent angle with fewer crowds.
- On the bridge – Gets both the globe and the entrance in the background.
- Directly in front of the globe – The classic Universal photo-op.
Mornings are the busiest, especially as the park opens, making it tricky to get a shot without a crowd in the background. For a quieter moment, consider taking your photo around lunchtime or as you’re leaving the park early in the evening.

2. Ride The Hogwarts Express
The Hogwarts Express is one of the best rides at Universal Orlando. This train takes you between Hogsmeade Station and King’s Cross Station in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

There is no height requirement for the Hogwarts Express, so it’s great for all ages. However, since the train connects two Universal Orlando theme parks, you’ll need a park-to-park ticket to ride.

3. Watch The Blues Brothers Live Show
The Blues Brothers Live Show is an outdoor performance based on the classic 1980s film in the New York area of Universal Studios Florida. Jake and Elwood take the stage in their signature black outfits and perform well-known songs like Soul Man and Gimme Some Lovin’.

The show runs daily and offers a fun, high-energy musical experience for visitors of all ages. For showtimes, check the Universal Orlando app or park schedule.
4. Explore The Park as a VIP

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about what to see, ride, and do across the Universal Orlando parks in 2026 are below.
What are the must-do experiences at Epic Universe?
The headline must-dos at Epic Universe are Stardust Racers (dual-launch coaster in Celestial Park), Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, Mine-Cart Madness in Donkey Kong Country, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, Hiccup’s Wing Gliders on Isle of Berk, and an evening drink at Burning Blade Tavern or the Place Cachee speakeasy.
What is the best photo spot at Universal Orlando?
The Universal globe outside Universal Studios Florida is the classic shot, with three good angles (outside NBC Sports Grill & Brew, on the bridge over the lagoon, or directly in front). I find late morning or early evening less crowded than rope drop, so the photo is cleaner.
When is Universal Orlando Mardi Gras?
Mardi Gras 2026 ran from 7 February through 4 April, with a nightly parade and concerts on select nights. Admission to the event is included with a regular park ticket, no separate add-on needed.
What live shows are running at Universal Orlando in 2026?
The current rotation includes the Blues Brothers Live Show in New York, the Bourne Stuntacular at Universal Studios Florida, and the seasonal Universal Mega Movie Parade (returning 23 May to 23 August 2026 at 7pm). The Superstar Parade ended in 2022, so ignore older lists that still mention it.
Does the Gringotts dragon at Diagon Alley still breathe fire?
Yes, the fire-breathing dragon on top of Gringotts Bank still roars and breathes a burst of flame roughly every 10 minutes throughout the day. It’s worth lingering nearby for a photo, since the burst itself is brief.
How much does a Universal Orlando Express Pass cost in 2026?
Universal Express Pass pricing now ranges roughly $110 to $260 per day depending on date and tier, with Unlimited Express usually $30 to $40 more than the standard one-and-done version. Guests staying at Portofino Bay, Hard Rock Hotel, or Royal Pacific still get Universal Express Unlimited included with their room.
