There are two theme parks at Universal Orlando: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures. Both parks have plenty of characters that you can meet.
However, there is no guarantee that all of these characters will be available on the select day you visit. Instead, character appearances may change without notice.

The Simpsons Characters
You’ll find characters from The Simpsons inside the Springfield, U.S.A area at Universal Studios Florida.
Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa Simpson rotate with other characters from The Simpsons including Sideshow Bob and Krusty the Clown.
As such, if you don’t see your favourite character during your time in Springfield be sure to ask a cast member when they will be appearing or try coming back later in the day.
You can meet Scooby-Doo and the gang, including Shaggy, Velma, Fred, and Daphne on Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Mystery Machine van.
While the van is always parked on Hollywood Boulevard, Scooby-Doo and his mystery-solving friends only appear at certain times.
Betty Boop is an iconic cartoon character who made her first appearance in 1930 and has been delighting audiences for almost a century.
You can find her strolling down Hollywood Boulevard and posing for photos throughout the day.
Marilyn Monroe is not so much a character as a Hollywood icon, and you can find her at Universal Studios posing for photos in her famous white dress.
You’ll be able to meet Marilyn on Hollywood Boulevard periodically throughout the day.

Knight Bus Conductor
Outside the entrance to Diagon Alley at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you can meet the conductor of the Knight Bus.
This is a fun character encounter because not only can you interact with the driver of this magical bus, but you can also interact with the shrunken head hanging in the window!
You can meet Transformers characters in the Production Central area of Universal Studios. You’ll be able to find these characters outside the exit of Transformers: The Ride 3D.
Transformers available to meet include Optimus Prime, Bumble Bee, and Megatron.
The Blues Brothers
Over in the New York area of the park (just round the corner from Jimmy Fallon’s Race Across New York ride), you’ll find The Blues Brothers show.
This performance takes place multiple times daily and is a great chance to shake your tailfeather!

Harry Potter Characters
Unfortunately, while you cannot meet the main characters from Harry Potter like Harry, Ron, and Hermione, you can meet some minor characters in the Hogsmeade Village area of Islands of Adventure.
However, you are able to meet the conductor of the Hogwarts Express train, along with the Durmstrang boys and Beauxbatons girls visiting for the Triwizard Tournament, who perform at set times on the stage in Hogsmeade Village throughout the day.
Betty Boop is a beloved cartoon character who was first introduced in 1930 as a caricature of a Jazz Age Flapper.

Note that since the Toon Character Zone is currently undergoing refurbishment, these characters are currently unavailable (March 2023)
