All four Universal Orlando parks have lockers:

• Universal Studios Florida
• Islands of Adventure
• Epic Universe
• Volcano Bay

There are two reasons you might need a locker while inside the parks:

1. Because you want to store your belongings while you go around the park
2. Because you want to go on a ride where items are not permitted

If you need to store loose items before a ride, there are lockers outside the ride entrance.

These lockers measure 14″ x 5.5″ x 16.9″ and are free for a set time based on the ride’s wait time. If you need a bigger locker, you can rent a large ride locker that measures 12″ x 13″ x 16.9″ for an additional $2.

Alternatively, if you want long-term locker storage, you’ll need to pay to rent a locker inside the park.

Pro Tip: If you leave your belongings in the ride locker for more than the required time, you will be charged $3 per 30 minutes, with a maximum charge of $20.

• Large: These lockers measure 12″ x 13″ x 16.9″ and cost $15 daily. They are perfect for most backpacks and are located at the park entrances.
• Family: These lockers measure 12″ x 16.25″ x 16.9″ and cost $20 per day. These lockers are only available at the entrance of Universal Studios Florida.

Epic Universe

• Large: These lockers measure 11″ x 11.75″ x 17.7″ and cost $15 daily. They are perfect for most backpacks and are located near the park entrance.

Rental Process

Renting a locker at Universal Orlando is simple. However, the process varies depending on whether you’re renting a free ride locker or a paid one.

In both cases, the lockers come in blocks. Each block has one touch screen and roughly 20 – 50 lockers connected to it.

Using the screen, you can follow the instructions and see the lockers available. If you’re renting a paid locker, you can then pay for it using cash or a bank card.

The system will then assign you an available locker and request you either:

• Set a PIN code
• Scan your theme park ticket

You will then need to use the same method to access your locker again throughout the day or once you’ve been on the ride.
