Is Six Flags Magic Mountain Open On Christmas Day? (2023)
The Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park is a thrilling place to visit year-round. So for those of us not interested in traditions and festivities, it could be the perfect place to visit on Christmas Day.
At the time of writing (March 2023) Six Flags have not confirmed whether they will open for Christmas Day. The park did open on Christmas Day in 2022, however, the park was closed on Christmas Day in 2020 and 2021.
Based on the announcements from previous years we should find out whether or not Six Flags Magic Mountain will be open on Christmas Day by the end of July.
If Six Flags does decide to open the Magic Mountain theme park on Christmas Day then the good news will be posted on the theme park’s social media channels and tickets will become available to purchase on the Six Flags Magic Mountain website.
Based on previous years it’s likely that if the park opens on Christmas Day it will do so with the operating hours of 9am until 5pm.
However, if the park doesn’t open on Christmas Day then it’s unlikely that Six Flags will make the announcement anywhere.
Instead, you’ll simply find that tickets for select dates in December are available, with Christmas Day being one of the ‘blocked out’ dates with no tickets available.

Holiday In The Park
It is confirmed that the holiday spectacular – Holiday in the Park – will be going ahead in 2023.
This is when Six Flags Magic Mountain truly lights up the holiday season on select dates from November 20 through January 2.
Starting at 5pm the park is transformed into a winter wonderland of festive cheer and twinkling fairy lights.
Historically, Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Magic Mountain has been a truly magical experience.
The festive program features enchanting musical shows, opportunities to meet Santa, and of spectacular decorations!
The whole family will enjoy exploring the brand-new areas of the park designed specifically for this Christmas extravaganza.
They will also love riding all their favourite attractions, and meeting the cheerful characters who will be dressed in outfits that represent the spirit of the holidays!
