Renting Disneyland – Everything You Wanted to Know
Have you ever wondered if you can rent out Disneyland? or whether celebrities rent out Disneyland to visit without being hassled?
The truth is that nobody can rent out the entire Disneyland theme park. The cost of closing one of the two theme parks for the day runs into the millions, so it’s never fiscally possible.
However, areas of a Disneyland theme park can be rented out privately. Unsurprisingly, information about renting out an area of Disneyland isn’t heavily documented.
That said, we know from past events that you can only rent out an area of Disneyland after hours. With the cost rumoured to be between $125,000 and $185,000 for a few hours. Of course, that price is likely to vary depending on:
- The time of year
- The theme park (Disneyland or California Adventure)
- The area
The $125,000 and $185,000 cost of renting out an area of Disneyland is just the base price.
On top of that most people renting out areas of Disneyland are also going to look at extras such as food. These come at an extra cost which again varies but is rumoured to start at $150 per person.
So, who has enough money to rent out an area of Disneyland? Well, there’s two types of people:
- Large corporate companies
- Wealthy individuals
Most celebrities who can’t afford or don’t want to pay to close an area of Disneyland instead book a VIP tour. Disneyland VIP tours are much more affordable (in comparison) and are also regularly advertised and sold to the general public.
