As with all theme parks, the food at Legoland Windsor isn’t cheap. I visit Legoland with my family at least once a year and have done so for several years, so I’ve become accustomed to the food prices and options.
Subsequently, I’m able to easily budget for a trip to Legoland Windsor, and I hope to help you do the same.
A typical lunchtime meal at Legoland Windsor costs between £12.00 and £18.50. Drinks typically cost between £2.50 and £5.00, whereas ice cream and sweets cost between £3.00 and £8.00.
I think the food quality at Legoland Windsor is poor and could be drastically improved. It feels as if they take advantage of the fact that you’re somewhat trapped within the theme park.
However, the misery of dining at Legoland Windsor doesn’t end there. There is also a severe lack of seating options available when dining, especially indoors. If you want to guarantee you’ll sit down to eat a meal at Legoland Windsor, then the best location is Pizza and Pasta.

The restaurants at Legoland Windsor also don’t open until 12 midday. The only place I’ve been able to buy food or drink at Legoland before midday is at selected food stands.
Legoland Windsor Food Costs
Here are some photos of the last food prices at Legoland Windsor as of my last visit in September 2024:

Keep in mind that Legoland Windsor is now cashless. To pay for food inside the theme park, you will need a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Android Pay.
Pro Tip: You can save money on drinks at Legoland by investing in a Coca-Cola Freestyle cup.
Legoland Windsor Restaurants
There are four restaurants inside the Legoland Windsor theme park;
Alongside the restaurants, there are several food stands for buying more casual food. However, it’s rare to find seating near the food stalls, so if you buy food from here, you may find yourself eating it standing up.
City Walk Pizza & Pasta
City Walk Pizza & Pasta is the only all-you-can-eat buffet at Legoland Windsor. Adults currently cost £18.50, children £12.00, and children under 5 eat free.

There are three food options at City Walk Pizza & Pasta:
- Pizza
- Pasta
- Salad
Selected soft drinks are also included in the buffet price. This makes City Walk Pizza & Pasta one of Legoland’s most competitively priced restaurants.
This is also the only place where you can guarantee you’ll be seated at a table for your meal. All other restaurants require you to find your table, and the availability is limited.
Pirate’s Burger Kitchen
Pirate’s Burger Kitchen is the largest fast-food restaurant at Legoland Windsor. If you’re visiting during the peak season, then one of my biggest Legoland Windsor tips is to come here for lunch, given the extra space.

The menu here consists of different burgers and fries combos with a small selection of chicken tenders.
Farmer Joe’s Chicken Company
Farmer Joe’s Chicken Company has roughly 20 tables indoors and 12 outside. This means that within 20 minutes of opening, people are already fighting to find a seat.

This is the first restaurant you’ll come to if you walk around Legoland in a clockwise direction. This and its location in Duplo Valley often make Farmer Joe’s the most popular restaurant in Legoland Windsor.
It’s not uncommon to see people eating Farmer Joe’s food on the seats at the adjacent Duplo Valley Theatre. However, this, too, can be difficult during showtimes.
Hungry Troll
Hungry Troll is located in the Mythica area of Legoland Windsor, 100m from City Walk Pizza & Pasta.

This restaurant is a fish & chip restaurant serving:
- Fish & Chips
- Battered Sausage & Chips
- Pie & Chips
There are around 12 tables inside this restaurant, overlooking the lake. The rest of the seating is outdoors on the back two sides of the restaurant.
Legoland Windsor Hotel Dining
There are three on-site hotels at Legoland Windsor:
All three of these on-site hotels have at least one restaurant.
Legoland Hotel
There are two restaurants at the Legoland Hotel:
- BRICKS: Serving breakfast and dinner
- Skyline Bar: Serving pizza, burgers, salad & drinks
Legoland Castle Hotel
There is one restaurant at the Legoland Castle Hotel:
- Tournament Tavern: Serving a set menu which changes seasonally
Legoland Woodland Village
There is one restaurant at the Legoland Woodland Village:
- The Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar: Serving breakfast and a la carte dinner
Legoland Windsor Food & Drink: Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some other things you may want to know about food and drink at Legoland Windsor.
Bringing Food & Drink Into Legoland Windsor
You can bring food and drink with you to Legoland Windsor. However, all items must meet the safety and security requirements. This includes:
- No alcohol
- No glass
You are permitted to bring cooler boxes with you into Legoland Windsor. Currently, there are no size restrictions for cooler boxes. However, the lockers at Legoland Windsor are small, so you’ll likely end up walking around with it.
Legoland Windsor Picnic Areas
There is a small designated picnic area at Legoland Windsor. This is located on the hill where Viking River Splash used to be.
While this area is labelled as ‘the picnic area,’ it does not have picnic benches or shelter. It’s just a patch of grass with a sign that says ‘picnic area.’
Legoland Windsor Dietary Requirements
None of my family has any dietary requirements, so I can not speak based on personal experience.
Legoland says they can accommodate many dietary requirements and provide allergen information. All of the food at Legoland Windsor is well-labelled. Plus, each restaurant has an Allergen Champion to speak to should it be required.
Legoland Windsor Dining Reservations
You can not make any dining reservations at Legoland Windsor. All restaurants at Legoland are on a ‘walk up’ basis only.
There is also no mobile ordering system at Legoland Windsor. If you would like to purchase food, you will have to queue and pay in person.
