Florida residents are able to save a significant amount of money on tickets to Universal Orlando. The two biggest promotions running in 2026 include:
- $199 Unlimited 2-Park Florida Resident Ticket: Unlimited visits to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure through 16 December 2026, with peak-season blackouts. Does not include Epic Universe.
- Buy 3 Days Get 2 Free: Available on any 3-day ticket that includes Epic Universe from 30 April to 16 December 2026.
In this guide I’ll share how Universal Studios Florida Resident Tickets work, who is eligible, and give you a full-breakdown of each promotion and benefit available.
2026 Florida Resident Ticket Options
Universal Orlando runs several Florida Resident deals in 2026. Everyone 18+ will need to prove Florida residency to be eligible. Accepted documents covered later in the guide.

The Buy 3 Get 2 Free deal is the best value if you want to visit all of the parks at Universal Orlando. With this deal you’re paying about 60% of the standard per-day rate.
Meanwhile, the $199 Unlimited 2-Park ticket is a great choice if you plan on visiting several times but it doesn’t include Epic Universe.
Unfortunately there is no Florida Resident parking discount. Self-parking is the standard rate for everyone unless you hold a Preferred or Premier Annual Pass (which includes free self-parking as a perk).
Florida Resident Annual Passes
Florida residents get exclusive Annual Pass pricing across four tiers:
- Seasonal Pass: around $325 for the 2-Park version. Heaviest blackout dates including July, Spring Break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- Power Pass: mid-tier with some peak-season blackouts. Modest parking discount.
- Preferred Pass: around $529.99 for the 2-Park version. No blackouts, free self-parking, dining and merchandise discounts.
- Premier Pass: around $689 for the 2-Park version; around $1,094.99 for the 3-Park version. No blackouts, free preferred self-parking, free Universal Express Pass after 4pm daily, discounts on almost everything, and priority perks.
Florida residents can pay for any Annual Pass in monthly instalments — around 50% down plus 11 monthly payments.
Epic Universe is currently an Annual Pass add-on. Standard AP tiers only cover USF, Islands of Adventure, and (3-Park only) Volcano Bay.
Florida Resident Hotel Discounts
Beyond ticket and Annual Pass pricing, Florida residents can also benefit from on-site hotel discounts, particularly during off-peak times.
How to Buy Florida Resident Tickets
Florida Resident tickets can only be bought directly from Universal Orlando. Undercover Tourist, Get Away Today, and similar resellers do not stock Florida Resident inventory.
There are two ways you can buy tickets from Universal Orlando:
- Online via the Florida Resident page on universalorlando.com and toggle “Florida Resident” on when browsing tickets.
- In person at Will Call or the front-gate ticket booths at each park.
Every guest 18 or over needs their own valid proof of residency to enter with a Florida Resident ticket. You can’t buy a Florida Resident ticket for a non-resident friend or family member as the ticket is tied to Florida ID verification at the gate.
Accepted Proof of Florida Residency
Universal accepts three tiers of documentation:
Primary Florida ID (single document is enough)
- Florida driver’s licence with a Florida address
- Florida State-issued ID card with a Florida address
- Florida-based military ID
Alternative Documentation (if no primary Florida ID)
Universal will accept a photo ID plus any of the following, dated within the last 2 months and showing a Florida residential address:
- Monthly mortgage statement
- Florida vehicle registration or title
- Homeowner’s insurance policy or bill
- Automobile insurance policy or bill
- Utility bill (power, water, phone, cable)
- Mail from a financial institution (bank, savings, investment statement)
- Mail from a federal, state, county, or city government agency
Out-of-State or International ID Holders with Florida Residence
If you have a home in Florida but hold ID from another state or country, Universal will accept your:
- Passport
- Driver’s licence
- ID card
Along with any of the following as long as it shows a Florida residential address:
- Deed
- Mortgage / Mortgage statement
- Apartment lease
- Current homeowner’s insurance policy
- Current utility bill
Universal’s PR team confirmed on my May 2026 press trip that UK passport holders staying in Florida on a long-stay visa are eligible for Florida Resident tickets if they can produce a matching Florida address document (typically an apartment lease or utility bill dated within the past 60 days).
